Bryan Moose is the founder and director of the Port City Thunder Softball Travel Team Program. Bryan has been an integral part of softball in the southeast region of North Carolina for the past seven years. He has worked as the softball coordinator of Supper Optimist and is now assisting as director of Wilmington Softball. Bryan’s committed to providing opportunities for girls to play softball in any arena possible. Bryan founded the Thunder with the original members of the program in 2011 and has worked diligently in providing further opportunities for girls to play softball in a more competitive environment. He has expanded the program to include teams at all levels from 8U to 14U. Bryan is a dedicated family man with a wife and two daughters. He makes that committment to family one of the cornerstone’s of the Thunder program.
Russ is a teacher and coach with the New Hanover County Schools with twenty years of experience coaching football, women’s basketball, and softball. He has been lucky enough to have been a part of two state softball championship teams, three eastern N.C. softball championship teams, and multiple conference championships across all three sports. Russ’ passion lies in creating well-rounded student-athletes that will succeed in life because of their use of athletic lessons in their daily endeavors now and in the future.
